Meet our Physical Therapist

Diogo Trevisan, DPT 

Diogo earned his physical therapy degree from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba in Piracicaba, Brazil.  The leading university for physical therapy in Piracicaba.  He completed his doctorate program at Utica University.  With about 10 years of experience in physical therapy, Diogo is extremely passionate about orthopedics and sports medicine, so much so that he reads orthopedics books during his leisure time. He is also passionate about incorporated both a mind and body healing during rehabilitation.   Diogo, along with his with wife, Stephanie, is also the owner of Physical Therapy Now Sunset, creating a family like environment in the clinic.  On his days off Diogo is either spending time with his two boys or practicing Jiu Jitsu, another one of his passions.

Alain Romagosa, PTA

Like Ed our PT I too studied at Miami Dade College Medical Campus and got my Associate in Arts Physical Therapy. I specialize in Orthopedics and I treat neurological patients as well as geriatrics. Specialty skills acquired are Myofasical Release, Knesio Taping, Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, Assistive Soft Tissue Manipulation (ASTM) also known as Graston Technique. Joint mobilizations grade I and II (Maitland and Kaltenborn) Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF- D1 and D2 for both upper and lower extremities) Approximation for stroke patients as well as Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) with activation and inhibition, Therapeutic Exercises, Stretching with the focus of rehabilitation and or prevention. During my time in Miami Dade Collage I was awarded the honor of best student award during internship, I was awarded the 2nd best GPA for Physical Therapy Assistant. I love what I do and I love to teach all the techniques to aspiring PTAs like myself. Physical Therapy Now Bird is my second home away from home. We are one big family, the staff, owners and patients make this place the best place to be when your injured, the best place to be for health and wellness.

Stephanie Trevisan – Office Coordinator

Stephanie is the office coordinator at Physical Therapy Now Sunset and handles all the clerical, insurance and logisitics for the clinic.  She is an FIU alumni and an NSU alumni.  Stephanie is a former Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant and currently an entrepreneur, owning a variety of businesses including Physical Therapy Now Sunset alongside her husband Diogo.  Coming from a service industry, Stephanie is passionate about creating a family like environment and helping our patients feel at home when receiving therapy.  On her days off Stephanie is either spending time with her family or indulging in self care.
